Exodus 15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
So many have forgotten that God's wrath is as swift and sure as his pleasure. He is a just God, a faithful and true God. The only God of power and righteousness!
His judgement on the Egyptian soldiers was swift and certain as they followed Pharaoh's order to chase the children of Israel to return them to slavery. When God opened up the sea for His people to cross over, the enemy mistakenly thought they would safely cross too.
The ENEMY CANNOT GO WHERE YOU ARE GOING! Stop trying to take the "world" into God's Kingdom. He always makes a way where He leads. Have faith and doubt not.
God does not need your "help" to do what He purposes to do... only your obedience to His will and His way. He does not need trickery, slight of hand, nor delusions to fulfill His purposes. He does not need your "cheerleader" section to pump Him up. He wants our praise, our worship, and devout attention.
We have stopped coming together in prayer before our services and have turned to fellowship and conversation among ourselves instead of with Him. Sure we can talk to God anywhere at anytime. So why don't we? Why are so busy talking to one another, going over our "problem" with each other instead of taking it to Him?
Exodus 15:19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
God delivered them, fought the battle for them... He will do the same for you when you follow and obey His commands. He will fight for you. Everyday life is bearable with God on your side. Be His people, choose to please the Lord today and always for He shall reign forever and ever; a just and faithful Lord!
