Do Unto Me

Matthew 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Unto who? Had they seen Jesus needing something they would have given it. They were respecters of persons in that because they didn’t know the person or persons in need, or that person could not do something for them, or maybe they just didn’t like the one in need – they did not help them. I have found that people like to give to those that they think are important. Then sometimes I found that people withheld compassion and care because they felt the other person had more than them. I don’t care who you are looking at, EVERYONE needs something and EVERYONE needs someone to care! A kind word can help someone go another mile.

Offenses:
Whether you have offended someone or someone offends you… make amends quickly. Often we unknowingly offend. Ask God to reveal to you where you faltered. Don’t be so proud that you refuse to fix it, even if you were right and they were wrong.
Offenses can be like little pin pricks, we may brush them off until after so many have hit us that those offenses build to a point that it becomes poison to the very soul. It may come from one person or from many different people. God wants us to stay in His PEACE.

Romans 14:21 It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything whereby thy brother stumbleth.

I don’t see anything wrong with it! I have heard that many times, another one is “God made me this way.” Uh, no He didn’t. You developed that bad attitude, not God.
I wanted a gazing ball. I thought they were sooooo pretty and I wanted one in my yard. I got one, a pretty blue one and as I looked into it – all I saw was me. My reflection alone. What was I a reflection of? Godly or self? Now that is how I percieved my gazing ball. Not as a tool to look into the future or unknown.

One day I felt conviction about the gazing ball and what it represented to the world. I argued, “but God, I don’t use it like that. To me when I look into it I am looking into me, what needs fixing in me. Am I doing right?” Then God said, “it isn’t about how you feel about it. It is what the world sees as they pass by your house and see a representation of the devil’s tools in your yard knowing that you are supposed to represent Me.” It is not about me, it was about “them” – anyone driving by my house. Who did I represent? I got rid of the gazing ball, stand and all. No, I did not give it away. It was busted and put in the garbage can. We must be good stewards over more than money. We must be good stewards over the ministry God calls us to also! Don’t let offenses in…

2Corinthians 6:1 And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain
 2 (for he saith, At an acceptable time I hearkened unto thee, And in a day of salvation did I succor thee: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation):
 3 giving no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our ministration be not blamed;
 4 but in everything commending ourselves, as ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;
 6 in pureness, in knowledge, in long suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
 7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
 8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Matthew 5:23 If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,
 Mark 11:25 And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
 Acts 24:19 who ought to have been here before thee, and to make accusation, if they had aught against me.

Don’t be bound by offenses, real or imagined! Even though you can’t please everyone, and as hard as you try, there seems to always be someone at odds with you. If you have followed God’s Word, then your heart and soul is clean of offense/s. Just because you do as God instructed don’t mean they will forgive you. Just know that you did as God said and that is all that is required of you.

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:
 20 these are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not the man.

Psalms 38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me; And they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.
 13 But I, as a deaf man, hear not; And I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
 14 Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, And in whose mouth are no reproofs.
 15 For in thee, O Jehovah, do I hope: Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

Don't dwell on bad stuff!

Lord help us to keep our mouth shut! Open it only to bless and not curse in Jesus Name, Amen.
