Herer's Your Sign

     Mark 8:11-12 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.  And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

     We go to church, we follow evangelists revivals, and we are always looking for something extraordinary happening to "prove" that God heals, saves and delivers; also as proof of God's love.

    We will follow our heart after financial gain, a spouse, or even the car we drive to the house we live in... why is it so hard to follow our heart after God? He said, "Only believe". There are no guarantees in a relationship, except with God. There are no guarantees in financial success, except with God. No guarantees in a car or home, except God be in it!

     We go day to day, week to week, month to month, and year to year... believing in our life. Believing that we can and will have a life. Yet, without God we would have no life to live, no air to breathe and no love to give!

      Jeremiah 44:29 And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

      Ezekiel 24:24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

     Luke 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

      Luke 11:30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

     1Corinthians 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

     1Corinthians 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

     Many more "signs" are in the Bible, recorded for our "evidence" of God and His awesomeness. Signs of His wrath, signs of His pleasure, and signs of proof that He IS!

John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

 John 20:27-28 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
