2Thessalonians 3:11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
There are some in every congregation, every home/family in the nation. If such were not with us or among us how would we be over comers? You cannot overcome something that isn’t there. Everything and everyone has a purpose under the Sun.
Yet, in the scriptures it tells us to treat them as brothers not enemies???? Remember now “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”….. Yes you can love your neighbor as yourself even if they are busybodies. Nosy and always gossiping; we have some of our “loved” ones that have nicknames like: the Gadsden Times, radio announcer, or hotline. Just tell them or let them see a thing and EVERYONE knows it. They feel it is their responsibility to “share” with everyone – they have a right to know. Hmmm,. Are you one? Busybody <> Judgmental go hand in hand.
God said to not treat them as enemies but as a brother. Yes, I have to work on how I treat them too. We CAN DO IT.
God bless you and yours,
Anna
