Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 ¶ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
The Lord let me know that when a man/woman rejects the words He put in my mouth that they are rejecting Him, not me. Sure they will avoid me or not willingly associate with me because of the conviction they feel. They have convinced themselves that it is a dislike for me but, in reality it is a rejection of the word sent to them through me.
I adjure you, if God sends a warning to someone through you and they treat you this way, DON'T QUIT. Continue to speak the Word of God, continue to live as God has instructed you. Don't let the hurt or feeling of rejection stop you from growing in the Lord. Stay strong and do exploits in the Lord.
You are not condemning them, they condemn themselves.
Don't let them screaming "only God can judge me"or "stop beating me with the Bible" stop you. They don't even realize that it IS God judging them. And, if they feel you are beating them with the Bible - words out of their own mouth.... they should listen to themselves.
It is the Word of God being rejected.
