The Only Real Peace

With all that is going on around us today...remember that God is still your source and will still be in control if you let Him. I am thankful today that He kept his hand of protection on us even when it feels like we were/are alone. He is always there for you and me.

No weapon formed against thee shall prosper...that does not mean that conflict or disaster wont come - it does mean that it wont prosper (be victorious, succeed, overwhelm).

Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

It is a promise to God's own. His righteous ones. That nothing has the power to prosper against you.

Storms come and storms go, emotional and physical, they can only destroy the things of this world. Only God can send judgment upon the spirit and soul. Often, God will use the sorrow or calamity in our life to turn us toward Him. That we will seek Him for guidance and comfort. For the ONLY real peace in this world comes from the Lord.
