I had a tooth in the front - on the bottom that has been loose for some time. Eating was a real chore as I would often bite down only to find that I had bit wrong and it pushed the tooth forward, blinding pain pierced me as I did.
I did not want to pay the dentist to pull it and I intended to pull it myself. I was only waiting until after Christmas dinner so as to enjoy the season with family.
After dinner yesterday, I came home and pulled it out. I packed it with the gauze and settled down to "endure" the evening. Three times I changed out the bloody gauze. Then the fourth time it was only full of saliva.
I took the gauze out intending to only drink liquids and possibly have oatmeal for breakfast the next morning. In the meantime, I used the meat juices from the Christmas dinner that I had cooked, ham and turkey, to make more cornbread dressing and it was smelling soooooo good.
I was a little puzzled because I was not in any pain at all. So I went to the bathroom, got a mirror and looked into my mouth. Being right in the front it was not that hard to see. There was no blood clot, no gap, no wound looking spot at all. I saw pink gum in the place where I had pulled that tooth. I thought WOW! So I told my husband to get the flashlight and look at my "hole".
He said, there is nothing there. I said,"as if I had not just pulled a tooth"? He said, "yeah. Go get some dressing and eat it."
Praise God.
Five hours after pullling that tooth I was eating corn bread dressing. I did not have to wait a day or two to eat or drink as normal. Without a doubt, God healed that wound!
And thank you Lord for the beautiful white Christmas!

Add in: I left a vital part of this experience out....now I am adding it in.
Before I pulled the tooth, I prayed. I did not even know if I could do it. I know what it feels like when the dentist pulls a tooth even with the "help" of them deadening it first. So I asked God to help me do this. He did.
Consider the power of prayer!
