Christmas, Christmas time is here ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫...time for joy and time for cheer ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫...ringing in the Christmas season, excitement in the air. 

People ripping and running trying to find the perfect gift for the ones they love (or the ones they don't love - just feel like they have to give them a gift cause they gave one to them last year). Christmas music filling the air everywhere you go. Some are smiling, some are frowning, some are doing neither. But all are bustling, hustling, working at getting somewhere.

Some say "Merry Christmas", some say "Happy Holidays" and some just give you that stare! In the crunch of December pressures, many will not remember just how we got here. Even the ones that say "I am a Christian" will have stressed over the presents they share. 

Was it enough or should I have spent more? 

Did they like it or was it a bore? 

Christmas has become such a chore!

Let me remind you this wonderful time of year

- is not about presents that cause such wear

on your love, joy, peace and happiness. 

Don't let it become such a mess!

Remember, the reason we started it all

the child born long ago in a stall.

To the Christ child the wise men brought

Gold, frankincense and myrrh we're taught

But the shepherds simply gave their love

for the Christ child from God above

Gold and myrrh they did not have to give

yet still their life they lived.

Only because the only perfect gift available

was born one night in a lowly stable

and lay in a manger bed

the only place for His head.
