Egypt - Good or Bad?

Egypt = place of bondage, despicable, Pharoah’s territory to some of us. God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, freed them, Exodus 13 KJV.

Matthew chapter 2 God sent his only son into Egypt to hide him. Jesus grew in Egypt. He was hidden from the eyes of those who intended to kill him. He was safe from the King and his jealousy/fear. If you seem to be smack dab in the middle of enemy territory, with no way out, perhaps you are being hidden for a time. Perhaps you are among the thorns so that you can GROW uninterrupted and safe. Often we don’t perceive ourselves rightly. We think if it isn’t easy, it isn’t right. That is not always true.

Your situation may seem unbearable and you don’t know how you will go on. But God hid Jesus among strange people who also did not mean any good for him if they had known WHO he was! Who would have thought to look for Jesus among the “enemy”?

God does not make mistakes. Whatever situation your life deals with…understand that God has a plan. We simply must trust and follow where He leads us. Children, draw upon the Holy Ghost when friends and family cause you strife or heartache over serving the Lord. You may be a hidden one. Husband/Wife the answer is not always divorce when your spouse demands that you stay home instead of going to church; or torments you over your walk with God.
There are many dangers along this pathway of righteousness yet God makes a way. We don’t always understand why He chose a particular way for us. We must trust Him and know that the reason is always to our advantage. So don’t look at the circumstance of your life – glean the good from among the tares.

Matthew 13:24 ¶ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

You may be a hidden one. God’s Word even tells us that the spouse can be sanctified by your love of God. Every Rose has it’s thorns…

Will you fight the path that God has chosen for you or will you allow Him to make you an over-comer. Allow God to keep you hidden until the time of your “coming out”, until it is time for you to bloom…?
